Meet the Team
|
Arridge Garage Doors Limited was established in 1989 in Oswestry, North Shropshire. We supply garage doors, garage door automation kits and garage door spares to every part of the UK . The company has grown rapidly during the last few years and located to the new Head Office in Oswestry some 3 and half years ago. The company recently achieved ISO9001 standard – a fact of which it is extremely proud, being one of the few (if not the only) Internet Based Garage Door companies to do so. This was particularly pleasing as it showed the commitment and balance of skills of all the team to achieve this internationally recognised status. Being a medium size business we pride ourselves on being able to treat all of our valued customers with the individuality their custom deserves. We have a team of four in our Oswestry office – and here they are:- |

Mark Arridge – Managing
Director and founder of the business. Mark has years of
experience in the garage door industry and in the early years of
the business not only supplied but fitted the doors. He is
interested in Rugby Union and actively supports the local Rugby
Club (although not too actively due to his gammy shoulder and leg
- which doesn't stop him propping up the bar but does stop him
rushing to it when it's his round). Mark is always willing to
offer technical help and advice both prior to build, during build
and after build to ensure the customer gets the correct door,
auto kit etc.

Sheila Kitchin – Sheila is Accounts Manager and has been with the company for 3 years. Hers will probably be the voice you hear first as she answers the telephone . Sheila has the uncanny knack of resolving customer's queries with our suppliers and manufacturers. She didn't earn the nickname “Our Silent Rotweiller” for nothing. She has a daughter, Jenny, at Southampton University and her other daughter, Sally, in her final year at school. Her claim to fame is that she once beat Sally at Badminton although she won't tell us how long ago this was. Sheila is very placid and a valuable member of the team. | |

Geoff Wilson – the “Old Codger” of the team but in his words - “the wisest”. Geoff actually took early retirement as Senior Commercial Manager for a Blue Chip Radar manufacturing company some 4 years ago. After two months of boredom he joined Arridge Garage Doors as Sales Office Manager. For his sins he supports one of the Merseyside football teams – although he is not prepared to say which one until he knows which one will finish higher in the Premiership. Typical I guess – although who can blame him. | |

Irina Arridge – although she looks a lot younger, she is actually Mark's wife. Irina looks after all the Marketing, IT and the legal aspects of the business. For reasons known only to herself – is known as “Head of Global”. Born in Russia (yes she supports Chelsea !!) she qualified as a Solicitor with a degree in English Law some 3 years ago. Her hobbies include Wine Tasting (for which she has won competitions). Irina's contribution to the business is invaluable (or so she tells us!!) | |
